     David Davis "Dave" Eades David Davis "Dave" Eades, 62, died at his home in Rowan County on Feb. 25, 2017 following a long battle with heart and kidney disease. Born Dec. 26, 1954, in Mullens, W.Va., he was the son of the late Louis Eades and Patsy Engle Eades. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Sparks, and a sister, Judith Sparks Martin. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force and received the National Defense Service Medal. He had a long career in the ink industry, followed by quite a few years as the "Repo Man." His interests were in building model Fords, woodworking and photography. He also loved to attend car shows. Survivors: his children, Bill Ratliff (Sandy), Tamara Moore (John) of Mocksville, Sabrina MacMullen (James) and David Eades (Laken); 22 grandchildren; and other extended family members. The family will hold a Memorial Car Show in his honor on Saturday, June 3 at Camp Manna. All money raised will be donated to the American Heart Association and to the National Kidney Foundation.1 He was born on December 26, 1954 at Mullens, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 He died on February 25, 2017 at Rowan Co., North Carolina, at age 62.1

She was born August 19, 1930, to Christine Early and Edward Meade Sherman in Washington, DC, and spent her childhood in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She attended Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, and then attended Michigan State University earning her Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics. Suzanne later attended the University of Akron to get her teaching credentials in Special Education. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Lewis Lamb; children, Christine (Thomas) Jones and Lynn Massey; step-children, Nina (Gary) Salata, Patricia (Robert) Buehner, Deborah Frick, Michael (Lisa) Lamb, Marjorie Neal, and Elizabeth (Basil) Gaitanaros. She was a loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. Suzanne was preceded in death by her brother in childhood and her parents, former spouse David Robinson, son Douglas Robinson, sons-in-law Douglas Schafer and Kenneth Massey, as well as step-children Richard Lamb, Robert Lamb, and Carolyn Lamb. Suzanne and Gerald were married August 21, 1981, and were blessed with 38 years of marriage. In retirement, they traveled the world, played golf all over the United States, and enjoyed their life together. Suzanne was a avid duplicate bridge player in the Akron area for many years and continued to enjoy a tennis match with friends well into her 50's. She loved her shade garden at home and spent hours tending her plants and flowers. The family would like to thank the staff of Renaissance of Richfield and all the caregivers from Great Lakes Hospice for all of the love and kindness. They were truly a Godsend. Funeral services will be held 12pm Monday, July 22nd at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn, where friends may call 11-12. Interment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. on July 20, 2019.1

     Douglas Sherman Robinson Douglas S. Robinson, of Akron, Ohio, passed away March 20, 2017, at the age of 58. Doug was born to parents David Robinson and Suzanne (Gerald) Lamb, in Akron, Ohio, on August 20, 1958. Doug's life's passion was cooking. Following several years honing those skills, his pride and joy were the many years cooking at and then purchasing Nick Anthe's Restaurant in Akron. He loved his work and the people who worked for and with him and those who patronized his restaurant. He loved the many opportunities his business offered him to give back to the community and help others by hosting and participating in golf events and fundraisers over the years. Doug is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Gerald) Lamb of Bath, Ohio; sisters, Christine (Tom) Jones of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and Lynn Massey of Beal City, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and step-brothers and sisters, as well as LouAnn Arconti and her children Ryan Wiley and Christine Wiley. Doug was preceded in death by all his grandparents, his father, David Robinson, and brother-in-law, Ken Massey. Cremation has taken place and Doug's wishes were for no funeral service. A memorial with friends will occur at a later date, as will a private family burial.2 He married Connie Unknown.3 Douglas Sherman Robinson was born on August 20, 1958 at Akron, Summit Co., Ohio.2 He died on March 20, 2017 at Akron, Summit Co., Ohio, at age 58.2

( Bill ) McCartney LCDR USN (Ret.) of Charleston SC entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2019. He was married to the love of his life Frances R. McCartney who entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2019. They were married for 67 years. Bill was born June 8, 1930 in Bradenton, Florida and Frances was born July 24, 1930 in Miami, Florida. Bill proudly served his country for 25 years in the United States Navy. We was a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. After retiring from the Navy, he was the Public Safety Chief at the College of Charleston before moving to a long career at Monarch Building Supply. He was an honorary member of the South Carolina Sheriff's Association and a member of the Elks Lodge. He was an avid golfer and a member of The Santee Super Seniors Golf Club. Frances was a loving ,caring wife and mother. She loved music and dancing and had a wonderful sense of humor. She worked for many years at Sears and then Joli Maternity wear helping expectant mothers with their wardrobe. She was also a Red Cross volunteer for a period of time. They are survived by three children all of Charleston. Rosanne Burke (Wes), Bill McCartney (Tina), and Mary McCartney. Eight Grandchildren and Sixteen Great-Grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 18, 2019 at Seacoast Church 2049 Savannah Hwy Charleston SC 29407. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to noon with a memorial service immediately following. Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 3093 Ashley River Rd. Charleston SC 29414 at 3:00 pm. on May 15, 2019.2
