     Harley Quentin "Pete" Dove Sr. was buried at Den Hill Road Cemetery, Mount Calvery Baptist Church, Montgomery Co., Virginia.3 He Harley Quentin (Pete) Dove, Sr., age 87, of Christiansburg died Sunday, February 11, 2018, at his home. He was born in Alleghany County, VA on May 15, 1930 to the late Emmett E. and Stella McNeil Dove. He was also preceded in death by his son, Harley Quentin (Butch) Dove, Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Betty and James Hinkle; sister-in-law, Frances Williams. Pete was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Pete retired from Appalachian Power after 42 years. He attended Cambria Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Alene W. Dove; adopted daughter, Joyce Brown; adopted grandchildren, Sandra Woolridge, Angela and Ron Brun, Kimberly Brugh; adopted great-grandchildren, Heather and Jamie Martin, Terrell Brugh, Chad Woolridge; five adopted great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Katherine and Douglas DeHart, Betty Joe Davidson; brother-in-law, Fred Williams, Jr; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cambria Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Crowgey officiating. Interment will follow in the Den Hill Cemetery.3 He was born on May 16, 1930 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 He married Alene Grace Williams on August 5, 1950 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.2,5 Harley Quentin "Pete" Dove Sr. died on February 11, 2018 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 87.3

     Alene Grace Williams was buried at Den Hill Road Cemetery, Mount Calvery Baptist Church, Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 She was born on November 26, 1931 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.2 As of August 5, 1950,her married name was Dove.1 She married Harley Quentin "Pete" Dove Sr., son of Emmett Ellett "Emitt" Dove and Stella May McNeil, on August 5, 1950 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,2 Alene Grace Williams died on December 1, 2021 at Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 90.2 She Alene Williams Dove, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born in Christiansburg on November 26, 1931 to the late Fred Sr., and Caroline Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley (Pete) Dove, Sr., her son, Harley (Butch) Dove Jr., her adopted granddaughter, Sandra Woolridge. Alene was a longtime member of Cambria Baptist Church, and was retired from C & P Telephone. She is survived by her adopted daughter, Joyce Brown, adopted grandchildren, Angela Brun and Kimberly Brugh; adopted great-grandchildren, Heather and Jamie Martin and son, Aiden, Terrell Brugh; adopted great-great-grandchildren, Trinity, Ashton, Demi, Paige, and Preston; her brother, Fred Williams Jr; and a special cousin, Tommy alderman and wife, Deana. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Cambria Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Crowgey officiating. Burial will follow in the Den Hill Cemetery. on December 4, 2021.2

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmit and Stella Dove, Fred Williams, and Carolyn Ford; and aunts, Frances Williams and Betty Hinkle. Surviving are parents, Harley Q. (Pete) Dove and Alene Dove; Harley's long time girlfriend, Joyce Brown and her children, Sandy and Larry Woolridge, of Tennessee, Angie and Ron Brun, of Pulaski, Kimberly and Mike Breeden, of Salem; her grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Chad Woolridge, of Tennessee, Heather Warden, of Pulaski, and Terrell Brugh, of Salem; uncles and aunts, Fred Williams, of Christiansburg, Douglas and Katherine DeHart and Betty Joe Davidson, all of Salem; and several cousins. Harley loved all children and grandchildren as his own. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Horne Funeral Service. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Harvey and the Rev. Olen Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery. on July 19, 2011.2
