He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rodriguez Bluefield Funeral Home, Bluefield, Va., with the Rev. Lacy Brooks officiating. Born Aug. 30, 1952 in Mercer County, he was a son of Jame W. and Maxine Hurst Sigmon of the home. He had lived in Bluefield for the past two years, was a carpenter, coal miner, and a graduate of Montcalm High School. He will be sadly missed and loved by all that knew him. He lived life to the fullest. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his brother, Richard Sigmon and wife, Julie of Sandlick; sisters, Susan Windle and Tammy Jones both of Bluewell; and host of nieces and nephews who will miss him. Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, with Minister Frank Watkins officiating. Pallbsarers will be Richard Sigmon II, Justin Neel, Ian Bailey, Steven Webb, Mark Neel, and Joe Thomason. on June 9, 2005.⁵
