     Betty June Conway was buried at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House, Putnam Co., West Virginia.3 Her married name was Westfall.1 She was born on February 11, 1927 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2,4 She married Lawrence Allen Westfall Sr., son of Lewis Allen Westfall and Lula Irene Elmore, on March 8, 1947 at Dunbar, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2,3 Betty June Conway died on February 14, 2011 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 84.4,3 She Mrs. Betty June Westfall, 84, of Poca went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2011, in Hubbard Hospice House. June was retired from the West Virginia State Senate with 27 years of service and was a member of Rock Branch Independent Church. She was a former member of the Poca Rebekah Lodge, the Red Hat Society and the Young Democrats. She was also an avid bowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Westfall; grandson, Chris Westfall; father, Clayton S. Conway; mother, Sylvia Maser Cisco; stepfather, Noah Cisco; and brother, Clayton Richard "Dick" Conway. She is survived by her children, Lawrence A. "Larry" and wife, Dreama Westfall, of Poca, Vicki J. and husband, David Dobson, of Morganton, N.C., and Timothy C. and wife, Pat Westfall, of Poca; her grandson, Chris's mother, Denise Westfall; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren and her adopted Lemon family. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Hubbard Hospice House, especially Rita Bailey. A tribute to the life of Mrs. Betty June Westfall will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 17, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delbert L. Hawley officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens and Crematorium, Red House. on February 16, 2011.3

     Her married name was Eagan.3 Vicki June Westfall was buried at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House, Putnam Co., West Virginia.3 She married Unknown Eagan.3 Vicki June Westfall was born on April 24, 1950.3 As of November 1, 1987,her married name was Dobson.2 She married David Thomas Dobson on November 1, 1987 at Brevard Co., Florida.2,3,4 Vicki June Westfall died on October 5, 2017 at Valdese, Burke Co., North Carolina, at age 67.3 She Vicki Westfall Dobson, 67, of Morganton, NC, departed this world after a courageous cancer battle and entered into the presence of her LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Burke County Hospice House. She was born April 24, 1950, to the late Lawrence A. and Betty June Westfall. Left to cherish her memory are her most beloved husband of 30 years, David T. Dobson, her son, Percy "Trey" Eagan and wife Wendy, of Melbourne, FL, her daughter, Kara Herrick and husband Chris of Lincolnton, NC, and daughter, Lacey Stevens of Chocowinity, NC, and son, Travis Dobson of Palm Bay, FL. Grandchildren, Lauren Hallman and husband Nolan, Kylie Eagan, Hannah Herrick, and Hunter Herrick. In addition, her brothers, Lawrence "Larry" Westfall and Timothy "Tim" Westfall and wife Pat, both of Poca, WV, and a host of other family and friends. Vicki graduated from Poca High School. She was a Guardian ad Litem and Hospice Volunteer as well as a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she loved her previous years of teaching some of the ladies Sunday School classes. She was a great cook and always had room for one more at her table, chicken soup to go to someone who was sick, and her signature pumpkin cake in the fall. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to her Hospice nurses, Pam Austin and Joetta Winkler, as well as the other nurses who cared for her through this battle, and all of Burke County Hospice for the wonderful loving care they provided. A Memorial Service will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, in Morganton, NC, on Tuesday, October 10, at 6:30 p.m., with Danny Emory officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, with a Celebration of Vicki's Life immediately following, at 6 p.m., with Homer Murdock officiating. Entombment will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House, WV. on October 8, 2017.3

     Christopher Z. Westfall was buried at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House, Putnam Co., West Virginia.1 He was born circa 1973 at West Virginia.1 He died on September 2, 1990 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1 He The state Medical Examiner's office is investigating the death of a Poca teen-ager who died during Charleston Sternwheel Regatta festivities. Christopher Z. Westfall, 17, of Star Route, Poca, collapsed Sunday while standing with friends on the levee, said Charleston Police Sgt. Dallas Staples. Staples said paramedics were unable to revive Westfall, and he was pronounced dead at 11:50 p.m. at Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division. Staples said police believe no foul play was involved in his death. Westfall was a lifelong resident of Poca. He was a senior at Poca High School and a member of National Honor Society, Christian Campus Fellowship and the track and basketball teams. He was a member of Lett Creek Community Church. He attended boys day 1990. Surviving: mother, Denise McKown Westfall of Poca; father, Lawrence A. Westfall Jr. of Poca; maternal grandparents, L.N. McKown of Cross Lanes, Willa McKown of Poca; paternal grandmother, Betty June Westfall of Poca; maternal great-grandmother, Edith Stover of Cross Lanes; paternal great-grandmother, Sylvia Sisco of St. Albans Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, with the Rev. Larry Covert officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House. on September 4, 1990.1

Mr. Westfall was born Oct. 25, 1930, at Sam Black Church and was the son of the late Lewis and Lula Elmore Westfall. He was a retired salesman from Prudential Insurance, was the former mayor of Poca and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Nitro. Survivors: daughter, Rhesa Boulton of Houston, Texas; son, Dennis Westfall of Poca; grandchildren, Charity and Ashley Cain and Jessica and Kelsy Westfall; and great-grandson, Luke Ridge. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Clintonville, with Father Arthur Bufogle officiating. Burial will follow in the mausoleum. on January 13, 2006.1
