     Verla Beth Smith Funeral services for Verla Beth Davis Powers, 59 of Arapaho, held Monday, December 7, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Arapaho, Loyd Hall, and Van Leonard will be officiating. Services will be under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, and burial followed in the Arapaho Cemetery. Verla was born May 15, 1956 in Sentinal, Oklahoma, to Virgil Neal, and Viola J. (Shockey) Smith, and passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in her home in Arapaho. Verla was raised in Clinton, and graduated from Clinton High School in 1975. She married Leon Powers in October of 1993, in Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker, and loved sewing, quilting, fishing, and especially hanging out with her kids. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her husband. She was survived by her daughter, Lori Beth Murphy, of Arapaho, her son Adam Bieberich, of Clinton, her step son James Davis, of Arapaho, 3 Sisters Velda Jo Sams, of West Virginia, Vonna Sue Phillips, of Clinton, and Vivian Rose Stockton, of Clinton, and a brother Virgil Lee Smith, of Clinton, and 8 grandkids.2 She was buried at Arapaho Cemetery, Arapaho, Custer Co., Oklahoma.2 She was born on May 15, 1956 at Sentinel, Washita Co., Oklahoma.2 As of July 24, 1974,her married name was Bieberich.3 She married Stephen R. Bieberich on July 24, 1974 at Wheeler Co., Texas.3 As of October, 1993,her married name was Powers.2 Verla Beth Smith married Leon Powers in October, 1993 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma.2 Verla Beth Smith died on December 2, 2015 at Arapaho, Custer Co., Oklahoma, at age 59.2
