Born on August 13, 1949, at Speedway, W.Va., he was the son of Louise Bratton Craighead Judd of Edinburg and the late Bernard R. Craighead. He also was preceded in death by a loving aunt, Rose Hurt. He will be remembered for his gift as a talented carpenter, which he made his trade during his lifetime. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Patsy Jean Hogan Craighead of Vinton; one son, Danny Brickey of Vinton; three daughters, Michelle Craighead of Vinton, Sherry M. Simmons and her husband, Joey of Vinton, and Rhonda K. Williams and her husband, Jackie of Roanoke; four grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Howlett and Diannia Rojas of Albuquerque, N.M., and Barbara Smith of Edinburg; two brothers, B. Roscoe Craighead Jr. and Richard Stanley of Roanoke, and a special aunt, Pauline Mathena of Princeton. Burial will follow in Pennington-White Cemetery at Speedway. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed forever. on June 22, 1997.6

Donohoe of Mill Creek, formerly of Elkview, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at his home after a long illness. He was a 1963 graduate of Walton High School and resided in Roane County most of his life. He was an Adventist and a member of Sandy Knob Advent Church. He was a retired trucker and security guard. Glenn was also an avid history buff, especially anything of Civil War nature, and he also loved to collect baseball cards and coins, particularly quarters. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; mother, Norma; brother, Don Max; and nephew, Ronnie. He left behind his beloved wife of 34 years, Lila Myers Donohoe; daughters, Robin Frazier and husband, Charles, of Beverly and Romona Shipman and husband, Adrian, of Valley Head; three grandchildren and one stepgrandchild, Ashley and Justus White, Brandon Donohoe and Joey Shipman; one niece and two nephews; a large extended family; and many friends. Burial will follow at the Myers family cemetery, Pinch Ridge. on March 6, 2008.2
