Haller on December 31, 1998 at Marion Co., Ohio.² Novona Carol Parker died on March 20, 2013 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at age 43.³ She CINCINNATI, Ohio — On Wednesday, March 20th, 2013, the first day of spring, our beloved Novona Parker Hacker passed away at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 43 years of age. One of three children, Novona Carol Parker was born at Cleveland, OH, on Dec. 3rd, 1969. She was the precious daughter of Clayton and Carol J. Allen Parker who make their home in Bradley. Novona was the granddaughter of Ralph and Josephine Allen of Bradley as well and the late William "Bill" and Inis Ferguson Parker. Novona spent her childhood in Woodbridge, Virginia, and Topeka, Kansas, where she graduated from Topeka High School. She has made her home in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area for the past five years. Our sweet Novona will be remembered for her love of life. She had a love for poetry and had a great fondness for cats. Her faithful feline companion, Harley, "Has Crossed Over the Rainbow Bridge." In addition to her parents and maternal grandparents, Novona leaves to cherish her memory her dear husband, Jerry Hacker of Cincinnati; she was the fond sister of Tony R. Parker and his wife, Paula, of Richwood, OH, and Joseph C. Parker of Locust Grove, VA; she was the kind aunt of Vincent, Devon, Morgan, Jordan, Ayla and Aidan; she leaves an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. On Monday, March 25th, at 1 p.m., we will remember the life of Novona with a "Service of Remembrance" at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Darrell Fuller will be officiating. Novona will be laid to rest in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers. on March 24, 2013.³
