     Robert Lee "Bob" Cunningham Robert "Bob" Cunningham, 63, of Moncove Lake, Gap Mills, entered into eternal rest Friday, Aug. 5, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Born July 12, 1942 in Welch, he was a son of the late Maurice and Rose Terry Cunningham. He had been a resident of Moncove Lake for nine years and was a retired coal miner and carpenter. He spent his childhood in Jenkinjones, and raised his children in Bluefield, where he met and married his wife Bonnie. He moved to Moncove Lake near Gap Mills in 1996 in a home he built himself. He was an active member of the Lighthouse Church of God in Union, where he was very close to all his church family. He was a avid hunter and an outdoors man and he could master anything with his hands until his health began to fail. He never met a stranger and loved and respected all who came in contact with him. His door was always open to friends and family. He loved the Lord and looked forward to going home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joey Cunningham. Survivors include his wife of 32 years whom he loved dearly, Bonnie Farmer Cunningham of Moncove Lake, Gap Mills; daughter, Cindy Chibuzo of Parkersburg; stepson, Michael Butt and wife, Margie of Moncove Lake; stepdaughter, Vicki Gordon of Moncove Lake; sisters, Barbara Profitt of Glenwood and Carol Miller, both of Glenwood; grandchildren, Zachary Chibuzo and Makayla Chibuzo, both of Parkersburg; stepgrandchildren, Megan Whited and Jessica Pearson of Moncove Lake; three nieces, one nephew and many friends and loved ones. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. Robert and Eddie Lester, John Akers, Richard Burnopp, Rodney Skinner and Dave Perdue will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Gordon of Bluefield; son, Michael Butt off Bluefield, WV; step-daughter, Cindy Hicks of Green Valley; 2 grandchildren, Megan Whited of Narrows, VA and Jessica Parson of FL; and a sister, Donna Mae Taylor of Bluefield, WV. Profitt was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the Long Point Baptist Church at Anawalt. on December 24, 1976.⁴

     Donald Ray Miller Donald Ray Miller, Pipestem, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at a WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. Born on March 6, 1945 in Jenkinjones, WV, he was a son of the late Elza and Ida Mae Woodards Miller. He had been a resident of Pipestem since 2005 and was a retired 39-year coal miner with US Steel. He was a member of the UMWA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alma Jean Forrest, Shirley Pugh and Mallie Evans; and brothers, Robert Miller and Thomas Miller. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Carol Cunningham Miller of Princeton; son, Donald Ray Miller, Jr. (Jessie) of Lowgap, NC; Daughters, Rosalyn Banner of Winston-Salem, NC, Ida Mae Mitchem of Glenwood; and Sherry (Bruce) Cameron of Glenwood; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Burnadette) Miller of Palm Bay, FL and a sister, Rose Franklin of Princeton.
