Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 12 noon with Rev. Emily Hoyer officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on January 10, 2003.2

She leaves a wonderful legacy in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving her are Alvin and Narelle Austin of Brisbane, Australia, and their children, Jeffrey and Renee. Also surviving are Mike and Sara Michaelson of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and their children, Mike and Michelle Blumenthal and Jack and Dean of Shalimar, Fla; Jay and Stephanie Wheat and Victoria and Alexander of Fort Walton Beach, Fla; and Jeremy and Lauren Gibson and Everett of Kingsport, Tenn. Virginia spent most of her life in the beautiful state of Virginia before moving to Florida 15 years ago. Her family will return her to her childhood home in Victoria, Va., where many of her loved ones still reside, including her brother, Jimmie Ingram of Victoria; and her sister, Mary Frances Dirks of Richmond. Services will be at Laurel Hill UMC at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, with burial in Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Victoria, Va. on April 30, 2014.3
