Mrs. Hearn is survived by her daughters, Deborah Hefner, Kim Orne and husband, Ronald, and Cindi Hearn; sisters, Patricia Milauckas, and Maxine Mardis and husband, Wayne; sister-in-law Pat Hobgood; grandchildren, Katy Hawks and Marshall Hawks; and 13 nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Markham. The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church Fox Hill. on December 24, 2011.1

Marshall is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Peggy H. Hearn; daughters, Deborah M. Hefner, Cynthia A. Hearn, Kimberly L. Orne and her husband, Ronald; grandchildren, Katheryn and Marshall Hawks; sister, Betty Caffacof; and his aunt, Elizabeth Mescoe. The family would like to thank the staff of Sentara Hospice for their great care and concern during Marshall's illness. A graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, at Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Norman G. Tippens. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. on June 26, 2003.5

Born at Dixie Hospital in Hampton on Nov. 18, 1963, Forrest attended Hampton City Schools. He worked as a draftsman for Becouvarakis and Associates for more than 20 years and enjoyed what he did. His love for his dog, "Blue" and his love of music managed to influence us all. His political views were all about patriotism, love of his country and all about all Americans not losing our Constitutional rights. He was a proud Libertarian. Forrest is survived by his parents, Wayne and Maxine Mardis; his sisters, Deanna Lukas and her husband, Jim, Barbie Franklin and her husband, Rocky; his brother, Benji and his girlfriend Dawn. He is also survived by his nieces, Alexis and Ashley and his nephews, Jimmy and Ian, all from Hampton. Forrest had dozens of special friends that meant the world to him, but two very close to his heart, Kellie Burchfield of Smithfield and Martin Huxford of Hampton. In honor of his memory, the family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton. The family welcomes friends and family to join in a celebration of Forrest's life at 119 Chichester Ave., Hampton, after the visitation. on March 26, 2009.6
