Ginny was preceded in death by her father, Mason B. Smiley, Jr. and her grandmother, Clara W. (Sis) Guilliams. Surviving are a son, Mason Shane Smiley; her mother, Lawanna (Wannie) Guilliams Smiley of Roanoke; her sister, Sonja K. Reustle and husband, Keith of Boones Mill; her niece, Amber B. Smiley; her grandfather, Cliff Guilliams of Roanoke; her very special aunt and uncle, Annie and Roger Guilliams of Roanoke; and her special cousins, Heidi and Jessica. A funeral service will be held at Garden City Baptist Church Friday, January 30, 2004, 2 p.m., with Pastor Greg Naude and the Rev. Ed Nicholson officiating. Gatha was the last charter member of Garden City Baptist Church. She had always been an inspiration to her family and friends and she will be missed by everyone. Gatha was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Johnie W. Webb; her son-in-law, Windel R. Trail and her grandson, Gregory W. Trail. She is survived by her caring and loving children, Gary W. Webb and wife, Vonda; Che-Chee W. Trail; Toby M. Webb and wife, Carla, all of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Farren W. Webb and wife, Karen; Trace W. Webb and wife, Glenda; Lynette Webb; DeWayne M. Webb and wife, Michelle; D. Scott Webb; Tosha T. Kiker and husband, Josh; Megan M. Slater and husband, Harry; Katie H. Noell and husband, Daniel; Lindsay R. Webb; her great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Gary Wayne, Hannah, Sarah, Meagan, Micah, John, Andrew, Miranda, Jerze, Cierra and Shelby; her sister, Mozelle R. Gibson, of Roanoke; and numerous other relatives and close friends. The family would like to say thanks and appreciation to Carilion Hospice, Care Advantage and Tika Wiseman for all their loving care and support during Gatha's illness. A service celebrating her life will be held at Garden City Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don McCaskill and Pastor Aubrey Dooley officiating. Interment will follow in Bandy Cemetery. on February 27, 2012.2

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cyndy; daughters, Pamela (Jon) Lauder, of Springfield, Va., and Lisa (Peter) McCluskey, of Washington, D.C; stepdaughter, Arianne (Luke) Tinurelli Clark, of Blue Ridge, Va; stepson, Tony Tinurelli, of Roanoke; much loved grandchildren, Hallie and Gunnar Lauder and Peter and Philip McCluskey; and mother-in-law, Beatrice Peterson, of Roanoke. Also surviving are brother, Gene Kelley (Rosalind); and many cousins. He will especially be missed by cousin, Roger Guilliams; and life-long friend, Carl Epperly. We will treasure his smile, his wonderful sense of humor and the extraordinary tomatoes he grew and shared with everyone. on March 25, 2011.5
