Nine Mile, Southfield. Mr. Miller, 62, died Thursday at his home in Farmington Hills. In four of the past five years, Mr. Miller was honored at national Sears sales banquets as the natijon's top vacuum cleaner salesman. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; a son, Dr. David Miller; two daughters, Mrs. Dianne Porth and Mrs. Rhonda Solomon; one brother, three sisters and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Versailles. The Rev. Gailya Dow and the Rev. Jeanie Leeper will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles, with Eastern Star and Masonic services at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children. on March 19, 2002.²

Uptegrove died on January 14, 2014 at Blue Springs, Jackson Co., Missouri, at age 78.^2,3 He Thomas F. Uptegrove, 78, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at his home. He was born July 4, 1935, in Independence, Mo., to Thomas and Fernie (Butler) Uptegrove. On November 29, 1953, he was united in marriage to Bonnie McKay, who preceded him in death. Tom was a farmer for most of his life and then a supervisor at Sexton Metal Craft in Raytown, Mo. He was a private pilot, and enjoyed camping, gun collecting and motorcycles. In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bonnie Alumbaugh.
