     Jerry Ray Chadwell was buried at Anderson Smith Cemetery, Woollum, Knox Co., Kentucky.^2,3 He Mr. Jerry Ray Chadwell, 74, of Girdler, passed away Thursday morning, June 22, 2017 at St. Joseph London. He was a son of the late Willie Edgar and Mossie Mills Chadwell born on November 15, 1942 in Knox County. Jerry was a former mixer with Pepsi Cola and was of the Holiness faith. He formerly serviced as a Knox County Constable and enjoyed gardening and watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke, and The Andy Griffith Show. On November 27, 1977, he united in marriage with Ethel Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, and two brothers, Perry J., who was his twin brother, and Eugene. Survivors include his daughter, Tina Hibbard and husband, James, of Barbourville and Jerry Rodney and Jennifer Miller of Corbin, who were like a son and daughter-in-law to him; two grandchildren, Daniel Tyler Ray Reeder, who was very special to him and was his caregiver, and James Austin Walters; two step-grandchildren, Katy and Eric Hibbard; four sisters, Cleo Chadwell and Helen Jones both of Girdler, Christine Mills of Erlanger and Betty Jones and husband, John, of London; three brothers, Bobby Chadwell of Girdler, Glenn Chadwell and wife, Elizabeth, of Lebanon, OH and Leo Chadwell and wife, Charlotte, of Batesville, IN; several nieces and nephews; among other loved ones and dear friends. His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, June 26 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Owen Smith and Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Anderson Smith Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tyler Reeder, Rodney Miller, Michael Frost Sr., Michael Frost Jr., Brandon Frost, Robert Frost and John Randall Jones.
