He will be remembered for his love of the University of Kentucky Wildcats and his grandchildren. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his son: Michael Mills, of Corbin; four grandchildren: Suzanna Mills, Cassandra Powers, Michael K. Mills and Joseph Mills; five great-grandchildren: V. Ragan Mason, Michael D. Mills, Gabbie Powers, Jayden Smith and Dakota Conley Mills; his brother: Tom Mills, of Corbin; and a host of friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his wife: Dessie Mills; three siblings; and his parents: Lee and Delilah Earls Thomas. A memorial service for Mr. Charles Mills will be conducted on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home. on March 27, 2013.3

He was a City of Corbin utility worker and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two daughters, Ginger Williamson and husband Tommy, of Corbin, and Lori Tye and husband George, of Rockholds; two brothers, Lee Allen Tyree and wife Judy, of Arkansas, and David Tyree and wife Georgia, of Corbin; two sisters, Karen R. Hall and husband Kirby, of Indiana, Deborah Egner, of Ohio; six grandchildren, Brandon Tyree, Rachel Grimes, Tristan Sevier, Ryan Sevier, Morgan Sevier and Peyton Sevier; and four great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Engle officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from noon to 3 p.m. at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. on July 25, 2016.2 He died on July 25, 2016 at Corbin, Whitley Co., Kentucky, at age 63.2
