Honorary pallbearers will be the Hope Sunday School Class of Connell UMC, Tom Carpenter, Ken and Cathy Carter, Raymond Waller, George Barrett, Marvin Burkhardt, Ann Burkhardt, Maude Lynch, Ginny Lynch, Mary Lynch Brown, Rebecca Bates, Dick and Sandra Fulton, John and Christine Wilson, and Lee Ashraf ElMasry. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Daniel, Jim Daniel, Shawn Daniel, Rick Ritter, Michael Ritter, Bryan Lewis, Mark Hill, Michael Camfield, Anthony Gunn. Mrs Daniels is survived by one daughter, one son and his wife, four grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, five great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years Golden Daniels, son Jerry Wayne Daniel, sisters Evelyn Davis O'Hara and Joey Ellis, and brother Denver Lee Davis. A service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home with interment to follow immediately afterward in Mount Olivet Cemetery. on December 30, 2015.2

Christine Alma Wilcher Christine Allen Wheat, 92, of Stanford, died Monday, January 20, 2003 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center. Born May 17, 1910 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George William and Mary Emily Leeper Wilcher. She was the widow of Albert Wheat and Charlie Allen. She was retired from Corning Glass and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include: five sons, Harold Allen, Earl (Peggy) Allen, and B. C. (Louvenia) Allen, all of Stanford, Johnny (Paulette) Allen and Gary (Ann) Allen, both of Danville; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Allen, one brother, Frank Smith, and one sister, Pauline Kennedy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, January 23, at the New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Allen officiating. Burial will be in the McKinney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Gary Allen Jr., John, Kenneth, David, Greg, Dale and Jeff Allen. Honorary bearers will be grandchildren.
