He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict as a MP and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He enjoyed fishing and visiting family and friends. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Gridley No. 1594. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Donnie Lowe, 1 step-daughter, Renee Taylor and 1 brother, Edward Lowe. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jeannie Lowe of Gridley, CA; 2 sons: Gary Krumpelman and Willie Lowe both of Marysville, CA; 3 daughters: Vickey Rodriguez, Carol Sanvedra and Sheila Vargas all of Marysville, CA; 4 step sons: Daniel Taylor of Yuba City, Richard Taylor of Florida, Michael Taylor of Alabama and Christopher Taylor of Gridley, CA; and 1 step-daughter, Lisa Taylor of Gridley, CA. He is also survived by 1 brother, Kenneth Lowe of Modesto and 2 sisters: Marjorie Squires of Gridley and Peggy Davis of Yuba City, CA; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel. on November 12, 2008.³

     Anna Marie Krumpelman was buried at Sierra View Memorial Park, 4900 Olive Avenue, Olivehurst, Yuba Co., California.³ She was born on February 10, 1940 at Hutchinson Co., Texas.^3,2 As of April 30, 1957,her married name was Lowe.¹ She married Billy Jack "B.J." Lowe, son of Clyde Edward Lowe and Bessie Jewell Mooney, on April 30, 1957 at Fresno Co., California.¹ Anna Marie Krumpelman and Billy Jack "B.J." Asher, 86, of Olivehurst. Born in Drumwright, OK on January 24, 1923 passed away in Roseville on June 7, 2009. Gerald lived in the Yuba-Sutter area for 61 years. He was a carpenter and welder and was a member of the VFW and Carpenter Union. He served in the Army during WWII. Survivors include: Wife, Lois Asher; Daughters, Sue Thetford and Deborah Hall of Oklahoma; Sons, Gary Asher of Browns Valley, Greg Asher and Junior Asher of Olivehurst; Brothers, Wayne Asher and Eldon Asher; and Sister, Mildred Asher of Oklahoma, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: Father, Joe Asher; Mother, Loretta Hallon; and Sister Betty Rippey all of Oklahoma. Services will be held at Sierra View Memorial Park, (530) 742-6957. Viewing will be on Thursday, June 11th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Graveside Services will be Friday, June 12th at 11:30 am with Stanley Reynolds officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association. on June 10, 2009.⁴
