She had been an invalid for several years, had only six weeks ago moved here from Corydon, Ia., to reside with her daughter. Born May 8, 1883, in Appanoose county, Iowa, daughter ot Frank and Ida McKern, she lived there most of her youth, marrying John Robinson in March, 1902, at home. They had lived at Corydon, Ia., since marriage. He preceded her in death 10 months ago. Surviving are one son, Gerald C. Corydon; three daughters, Miss Marie Robinson, Corydon, Mrs. F. M. Portner, Pasco, Wash., and Mrs. Sanders; and seven grandchildren. The body will be taken Monday night from Parrott & Wood funeral home here to Corydon, Ia., for funeral and burial. on November 26, 1945.4 She died on November 26, 1945 at Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa, at age 62.4

Sanders of Unionville, 69, livestock dealer and former Sigourney resident, died of a heart attack last Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home one mile north of Unionville. The funeral service was held Friday at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Moravia, and burial was made in West cemetery here. Mr. Sanderss had lived in the Unionville community for the past 25 years, having lived previously at Moravia. He is survived by his wife, Elgie; two sons, Robert of Waterloo and John of Ottumwa; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Belt of Granite City, Illinois, who spent her girlhood here with her grandmother and the late Mrs. Rosa J. Terrell, mother of Mr. Sanders; four grandchildren and two step-daughters, Mrs. Eloise Glenn of Guda, Illinois and Mrs. Ruth Glosser of Blakesburg. on July 28, 1949.6

He had served as chief of police since the change in city administration in April of 1949, when he was appointed by mayor James Morrison. He was associated with the department for five years. A native of Green Top, Mo., Mr. Wales was born December 18, 1888. He had been a resident of Albia for 11 years. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. At Lewis Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. G. S. Bruland First Methodist Church, and burial will be in Oak View cemetery. Mr. Wales is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Eudora Dutemple of Albia, Mrs. Mary Masten of Hackensack, Minn., and Mrs. Joan Bates of Cedar Falls; a son, John, of Albia; and five grandchildren.2 He was born on December 18, 1888 at Greentop, Schuyler Co., Missouri.
