Quick, 82, a resident of route 1, Centralia, died at his home late Sunday evening. He was born December 28, 1884 at Oscoda County, Indian Lake, Mich., and had been a Centralia resident for the past 67 years, coming to the area from Falls City, Oregon. He was a retired mill worker and truck driver. He worked in the mills in the area and the early 1920s and worked as a truck driver in until 1942, when he retired. Mr. Quick was a member of the Falls City Christian church. Survivors include the widow, May, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Maxine) Wright, Cinebar, Mrs. Wilbert (Helen) Harper, Ajiune, and Mrs. Niel (Louise) Scott, Hoodsport; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia with the Rev. Clinton Alton officiating. Burial will will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. on February 6, 1967.⁵

Smith, Centralia; numerous cousins and two step-sisters. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and Newell-Hoerling's Chapel, Centralia, with the Rev. Ronald Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia. on July 24, 1976.³

Born October 23, 1913 (shoild be 1911), he was a former longtime employee of Barner-Swenson Fuel Co., and an employee of Centralia Plywood, Inc. He was a member of the American Legion and the Methodist church. Survivors include his parents, Walter and May Quick; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Harper, Ajlune, Mrs. Richard Wright, Cinebar, and Mrs. Louise Scott. Hoodsport; several nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are pending at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia on August 20, 1966.⁵
