Bill was loved by many people. He was a man of many hobbies including grapes, gem mining, honey bees, amateur herbalist, handyman, and amateur clock-smith. Bill was a member of the Mason's, received honorable discharge from the United States Navy as well as the Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace William Moatz Sr. and his mother, Peggy Jane Barber Moatz. He is survived by his, wife, Norma Jeanne Kinsey Moatz his sister Myra Leigh Moatz Worley his son, Wallace William (Will) Moatz III and his wife, Morgan Moatz, and Daughter, Kimberly Rose Moatz Lynch and her husband Krystofer Lynch. Also his beloved grandchildren Cayden Cash, Wallace William (Bay) Moatz IV, and Chandler Ray Lynch. Loyal and faithful companion Alice Mae. He will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery.2 He was born on June 30, 1947 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.1,2,3 He married Stella Faye King, daughter of Robert Barger King and Dorothy Mae Paxton, on December 19, 1971 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.1 Wallace William Moatz Jr. and Stella Faye King were divorced on January 31, 1975 at Orange Co., Florida.4 Wallace William Moatz Jr. died on June 21, 2020 at Virginia at age 72.2
