     Wesley Edward Cooper Wesley Edward Cooper loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather; age 64, of Jefferson City, went to be with his Lord Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was a faithful and loyal servant of his Lord in many capacities most recently at New Market Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Carl and Nelma Cooper; and sister-in-law, Sandie Cooper. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Deb Cooper; sons, Bryan (Mandi) Cooper and Bradley (Laura) Cooper; grandchildren, Brenden Tyler, Madyson Paige and Bryson Wesley Cooper; sister, Julie (Dale) McCoy; brothers, Danny Cooper and Keith (Sandra) Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. He was a long time, valued employee of Cherokee Health Systems and accomplished carpenter. The family will receive friends Friday March 24, 2017 from 5-7pm prior to the service at New Market Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm at the church with Dr. J.W. Taylor and Rev. Bob Emmett officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Westview Cemetery.² He was buried at Westview Cemetery, Jefferson City, Jefferson Co., Tennessee.² He was born on August 4, 1952.² He married Debbie "Deb" Unknown circa 1976.^1,3,2 Wesley Edward Cooper died on March 19, 2017 at Jefferson City, Jefferson Co., Tennessee, at age 64.²

     Letcher Alvin Wilson and Callie Weaver were divorced.² Letcher Alvin Wilson was buried at Sunset Cemetery, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ He was born on July 4, 1881 at Floyd Co., Virginia.³ He married Callie Weaver, daughter of Harvey Jacob Weaver and Biar Alice Walton, on May 20, 1908 at Floyd Co., Virginia.¹ Letcher Alvin Wilson died on November 5, 1959 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia, at age 78.³

     Haleene Virginia Wilson was buried at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Ave SW, Roanoke, Virginia.^5,3,6 Her Social Security Number was 225-14-9395.² She was born on January 24, 1911 at Simmons, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^2,5,3 As of May 1, 1934,her married name was Bentley.⁴ She married William Lewis Bentley on May 1, 1934 at Roanoke, Virginia.^4,3,6 Haleene Virginia Wilson died on November 26, 1990 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 79.^2,5,3,6 She Haleene W. Bentley, age 79, of 2653 Dell Avenue, N.E., died Monday, November 26. She was the widow of William L. Bentley. Mrs. Bentley is survived by her sons, Warren L. Bentley, Los Angeles, Calif; Dr. Fred B. Bentley, Mars Hill, N.C; Dexter L. Bentley, Roanoke; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the home, 2653 Dell Avenue, N.E., from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Burial Park conducted by Dr. Fred B. Bentley.      William Lewis Bentley was buried at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Ave SW, Roanoke, Virginia.¹ He was born on January 10, 1910 at Virginia.^3,1 He married Haleene Virginia Wilson, daughter of Letcher Alvin Wilson and Callie Weaver, on May 1, 1934 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4,5 William Lewis Bentley died on February 13, 1964 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 54.¹

     Dexter Lee Bentley was born on February 13, 1945 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,7,4,5,6 He married Mary Elizabeth Hale on May 25, 1968 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Dexter Lee Bentley and Mary Elizabeth Hale were divorced on March 14, 1991 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Dexter Lee Bentley died on September 21, 2006 at Germantown, Hyde Co., North Carolina, at age 61; The SSDI has a death date of Sep 23, 2006.^7,6 He Mr. Dexter Lee Bentley, 61, of Germanton, N.C., died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at his home. He was born February 13, 1945 in Roanoke, Virginia to William Lewis and Haleene Wilson Bentley. Mr. Bentley served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred Bentley. Survivors include two sons, Andrew Scott Bentley and wife, Lori and Matthew Kirk Bentley, all of Roanoke; two grandchildren; one brother, Warren Bentley and wife, Shirley of Los Angeles, California; and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be a Time of Remembrance for family and friends Thursday at 4 p.m. at Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, N.C.
