She was a long-time member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and sang in the choir for 50 years. She is survived by one sister, Gertrude E. Pinkard, Roanoke; nephew and his wife, Don and Janice Pinkard, Roanoke; great-nephew and niece, Deann McElroy, Georgia, Bob Pinkard, Roanoke.
