In addition to Robert, they were preceded in death by Mary’s daughter, Jeanette Beard and Rose’s infant daughter, Carol Lou Cochran. Mary’s survivors include her son (Rose’s brother), Robert L. He was also predeceased by his sisters Rose Mary Cochran and Evelyn Jeannette Beard. Bobby served in the Marine Corps during the early 1960s. Afterwards, he was employed by the General Electric Company in Salem, VA, for many years. After leaving GE, Bobby opened Bob Beard Antiques in downtown Roanoke. He is survived by his nephew Gary Lynn Cochran (Barbara); niece Vickie Campbell (Tod); and cousin Judy Kniskern.
