     Sally Hamilton Funeral services for Sally Teague Cole, 87, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. On Feb. 5, 2009, from her own home, Jesus her Lord called her to His home. She married Doyle Teague on Aug. 31, 1941, in Plainview. He died June 22, 1984. Sally married Herman Cole on May 28, 1988, in Plainview. He died Aug. 5, 1999. She was born April 7, 1921, in Newsome, Texas, to parents Jessie Hogg Hamilton and Mary Leona Hamilton. She attended schools in Whitfield and Kress, graduating form Kress High School in 1940. She graduated from beauty school in New Orleans, La., in 1945. After returning to Plainview she worked at the Hilton Beauty Shop, at Sears for eight years and later for Dr. Gale Seigler for 31 years. Sally was a loyal member of the Eastern Star for 51 years and was a past Worthy Matron. She was a past board member of RSVP, NAREF, Community Concerts, Knife and Fork Club, Covenant Hospital and IHS. She was voted Pioneer Woman of the Year in 2005. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Amelia and Bruce Cline of Plainview; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sharon Teague of Concord, Calif; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Craig and Debbie Cole of Houston; one sister, Blanche Goodwin of Houston; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Special thanks goes to caregivers: Pat Jackson, Melba White, Frankie Williams, Raquel Riley, Minnie Marshall and Josie Zavala. She was preceded in death by both parents; first husband, Doyle Teague; second husband, Herman Cole; brother, Jessie Beaver; two sisters, Wenonah Henry and Norene Elam; and one grandson, Bruce Wayne Cline. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Bartley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to RSVP, 1900 W. Eighth, Plainview, TX 79072.1 She was buried at Plainview Memorial Park, Plainview, Hale Co., Texas.1 She was born on April 7, 1921 at Newsome, Camp Co., Texas.1 As of May 28, 1988,her married name was Cole.2 She married Herman Athel Cole, son of Jesse Ewell Cole and Mary Lee Jordan, on May 28, 1988 at Plainview, Hale Co., Texas.2 Sally Hamilton died on February 5, 2009 at Plainview, Hale Co., Texas, at age 87.1
