He is survived by loving wife of 21 years Doodie Craft Blankenship; daughter Samantha Crews; adopted son & family Doug Williams; grandchildren Mindy Horton, Angel and Michael Crews; great-grandchildren Benjamin and Adelyn Horton; sister Beatrice Viers; brothers (Junior) Alderson L. Blankenship and Doc L. Blankenship. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Davis and Jim Morris officiating.
