She was born March 1, 1922 in Covington, Va., a daughter of the late Edward Crawford and Fannie Riddle Ergenbright. Mrs. Jordan was also a former lingerie buyer for Leggett Department Store in Roanoke. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Radford Jordan, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marc R. and Darlene Jordan, Kitty Hawk, NC; her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra J. and Stacey Cooper, Glade Hill; her grandchildren, Amanda Jordan Smith and husband, Matt, Michelle Jordan Kourtsounis and husband, Pete, Thomas Keith Cooper and wife, Michelle, Shane Jordan Cooper; her great-grandchildren, Madyson Taylor Jordan, Katelyn Lesley Kourtsounis, Jordan Virginia Smith; sister, Mrs. Charles Hollandsworth, Shelburne, Vt; number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Frank Avery officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford. The family will receive friends at the home of Sandra and Stacey Cooper. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount. on October 27, 2004.2
