Morris. Growing up, Mike developed a love of cars, motorcycles and animals and he maintained that love throughout his lifetime. He especially liked to restore Harley Davidsons and classic cars. His home was always a haven of love and care for stray animals that were dropped off to fend for themselves by heartless owners. As a teen, Mike began working in the family's business: Morris Motors & Carwash. Mike graduated from LaVille High School in 1978 and soon opened Morris Motors North. Through the years he has moved his car lot to different locations, but his commitment to his many customers earned him their loyalty and they followed him to his new locations. Mike enjoyed being a car salesman. He always took the time to really get to know his customer and worked hard to find them the best deals on buying used vehicles. Mike's family would like to thank those loyal customers for their patronage all these years. Mike liked making others smile and could always be counted on for a good laugh whether at family gatherings or with his friends or customers. On March 27, 1987, Mike wed Paula Flosenzier and they settled here in Plymouth. Mike shared a close relationship with his in-laws: Guy and Jean Flosenzier and family of Plymouth. Mike's greatest joy came from being a dad to his son, Rick. They shared an undeniably, strong bond. They spent time hunting, fixing cars, improving their property, riding motorbikes and just enjoying each others company. Mike's gifts were many. He filled many roles: that of Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Friend. He will be deeply missed by us all. Mike is survived by his father, Richard C. Morris. The mother of their beloved child, Paula; his cherished son, Richard Michael Morris, his brothers: James W. and Monica Morris, Joseph R. and Lynn Morris, his sister, Julie A. Morris and five nieces and two nephews, all of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his mother, Joyce P. Morris, who took him into her arms when he entered God's Kingdom. A celebration of Mike will take place in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, from 3 to 8 p.m. Family interment services will be held at New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Ind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to Center For Hospice & Palliative Care, 112 S. Center St. Suite C, Plymouth, IN 46563 as Mike was a supporter of this very important community service. on November 21, 2005.6
