Mr. Shelley was born April 14, 1942, in Monterey, Calif. He and Laurel Smith were married Dec. 14, 1970. He was a chiel technician for TCI Cablevision in Burkburnett, retiring in 1996. He was an Army veteran, serving three tours in Vietnam. He had live in Burkburnett since 1980.
