Born April 10, 1956 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Nellie Kessinger, of Athens. Linda had resided in Sandlick since 1976, and attended the Princeton Church of God. Linda graduated Concord University and was a Social Worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Keith Hurst, and her son, Joshua Keith Hurst. Those left to cherish Linda's memory are her daughter, Amanda Maria Hurst of Roanoke, VA; her faithful companion Bop; sister, Brenda McCormick of Princeton, WV; brother, Ted "Leslie" Kessinger, and his wife, Tracy, of Princeton, WV; and sister, Terri Kessinger of Speedway, WV; several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Burial will be at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.² She was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² Her married name was Hurst.¹ She married Larry Keith Hurst, son of Chester Mateer Hurst and Yvonne Legg.^1,2 Linda Maria Kessinger was born on April 10, 1956 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² She died on February 23, 2022 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 65.²

     Oscar Harold McGhee was buried at Fair View Cemetery, 3300 Melrose Ave. N.W., Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3 He was born on July 19, 1941 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^1,4,5,2 He married Wanda Geneva Lephew, daughter of Marvin Lee Lephew and Cora Jane Melton, on July 19, 1960 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Oscar Harold McGhee and Wanda Geneva Lephew were divorced on December 7, 1979 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Oscar Harold McGhee died on September 29, 2013 at Virginia at age 72.^5,2 He Oscar Harold McGhee, 72, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at his home with his wife and family by his side. He was born July 19, 1941, a son of the late Buford and Turena McGhee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Turena Geneva McGhee, and a brother-in-law, the Rev. Bill Stovall. Harold was a member of Vinton Church of the Brethren. Surviving is his sweet wife of 19 years, Kathryn (Kathy) McGhee. Also surviving in this blended family are seven children, Diana (Lee) Dillard, Cora Fay (Billy) Draper, Charles McGhee, Doug (Margee) Durham, Debbie (Kevin) Hughes, Steve (Linda) Durham, and Charlyne (Daniel) Rivera; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Clifton (Ellen) McGhee, Luther (Janet) McGhee, Bridget Stovall, Phyllis (Steve) Allen, Emily (Steve) Nelson, and brother-in-law, Jerry (Julida) Beard. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their loving and tender care of their dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery. on October 1, 2013.²
