He was born March 23, 1950, in Pasadena, California, the son of the late Billings Kirk Sr. and Ellen Fairlamb Ruddock. Survivors include his wife; his daughter, Virginia B. Ruddock of Charlottesville and her mother, Sue W. Ruddock of North Garden; his sister and brother-in-law, Virginia R. and Paul M. Coleman of Scottsville; his brother and sister-in-law, Alexander W. and Suzann C. Ruddock of Kilmarnock; one niece and three nephews, Paul Coleman, Jr. Travis Ruddock, Rebecca Ring and Kirk Ruddock and many special friends. Bill was a professional commercial driver and member of the Ford Tractor Club and the American Angus Association. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed many trips to Wyoming and Canada. He collected and restored antique tractors and was an inventor in the firearms industry.5 He was born on March 23, 1950 at Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., California.1,2,3,5 He married Bonnie Sue Wheeler, daughter of George Bledsoe Wheeler Sr. and Lucinda Elma Baird, on March 6, 1982 at Scottsville, Albemarle Co., Virginia.1 Billings Kirk Ruddock Jr. and Bonnie Sue Wheeler were divorced on March 10, 1992 at Albemarle Co., Virginia.2 Billings Kirk Ruddock Jr. died on June 27, 2009 at Albemarle Co., Virginia, at age 59.4

Charles had been living in Alba, Michigan since June 2005. His hobbies included rock hunting and he was a true animal lover. Mr. Knouse will be remembered by his family as a wonderful father who loved his family and treasured his grandchildren. He is survived by family and friends. His parents Charles Sr. & Mildred (Snyder) Knouse and his brother David Paul Knouse preceded him in death. The family requests donations may in memory of Charles Knouse be made to your local animal shelter. Arrangements were handled by Nelson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1548 Gaylord, MI 49734. on July 5, 2006.2
