Cindy was preceded in her death by her father Emmet, mother Betty Jane, brothers Gary, Roger, Jerry, and nephew Jay. Cindy is survived by her children Melanie, Chrissy, and David; sisters Sherry and Mary; brothers-in-law Kevin and Kyle; grandchildren Morgen, Amber, Alexis, Chloe, Caitlin, Madison, and Aubrey; nephews Chad, Corey, and Ryan. Cindy was an avid reader, and gardener, enjoyed going to baseball games, and loved eating chocolate, spending time with her family, and her dog Bre, and traveling all over the country. Through her life, she lived in Virginia, Texas, and New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Collins Sr; a daughter, Priscilla Lee; a son, Nathan Eugene; her parents, Jimmy Lou and Hattie Guthrie Barton; sisters, Geneva ("Tootsie") Catron and Annie Ferguson; brothers, Russell and Billy Barton. Surviving are three sons, Robert Lee and his wife Dorothy of Bedford, Randolph Lew of Body Camp and Leroy Ace of the home; five daughters, Dorothy and her husband John Crush of Roanoke County, Violet and her husband Alan Hilliker of Stewartsville, Norma Jean and her husband Bobby Shelton of Vinton, Phyllis and her husband Kevin Dellis of Bedford City, Susan Lynn Collins of the home; grandchildren, David and Jennifer Crush, Robbie Collins and Sarah Jean Spradlin, Jason Shelton, Kimberly and Krissy Dellis; great-grandsons, D. J. Crush and J. D. Spradlin, and sisters, Lois Catron of Vinton, Gracie Ashwell of Spars Point, Md., and Clora Doyle of Hagerstown, Md. Services will be conducted from the Goodview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. on March 4, 1996.2
