Born July 10, 1956 in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of Betty Mae Coleman Ramsey and the late James Thomas Ramsey. She attended school in Nelson County and later attended CVCC. She was a dental assistant with Dr. Fred Smith and Dr. Karen Perkins. She was a member Our Savior Lutheran Church. Marie was an avid reader, loved to cook and absolutely loved living in the rural part of Bedford County. Growing up, she was her dad’s constant companion in hunting and fishing. She deeply loved her dogs, Abraham, Mordecai, and Zac. Those who knew her understand what an understatement that is.
