     Charlie Lee Adams was buried at Jonesboro Cemetery, Roseland, Nelson Co., Virginia.1 He was born on May 22, 1932 at Nelson Co., Virginia.1,6,7 He married Marian Elbertia Johnston on January 25, 1957 at Nelson Co., Virginia.1,3 Charlie Lee Adams died on November 12, 2014 at Roseland, Nelson Co., Virginia, at age 82.1,6,7 He Charlie Lee Adams, 82, of Roseland, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at his home. Born in Nelson County, May 22, 1932, he was a son of the late Pollard and Margie Adams. Charlie served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #0017. He is survived by his wife, Marian Johnston Adams; two daughters, Gloria McFarland (Jim) of Lynchburg, and Jere Bibb (Mark) of Lovingston; one son, Dennis Adams of Roseland; four grandsons, Erik Morris (Monica) of Waynesboro, Alan Thacker of Quincy, III., Wyatt Adams of Roseland, and Dylan Bibb of Lovingston; two great-grandchildren, Delaney and Dalton Morris; and one brother, Elwood Adams (Jean) of Lovingston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Pollard Adams Jr., "Buddy"; and one sister, Anne Painter. A graveside service will be held in Jonesboro Cemetery. on November 20, 2014.1

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John Douglas Painter Sr; sons, Thomas Henry Adams (Lisa), John Douglas Painter Jr., Curtis Stephen Painter (Tara), Ronald Ray Painter (Misty), Timothy Lynn Painter (Pam) and Joseph Lee Painter (Linda); a daughter, Susan Painter Wright (Joe); brothers, Charlie Lee Adams (Marion) and Elwood Adams (Jean); a sister-in-law, Doris Bryant Reynolds; an aunt, Jessie Adams; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pollard "Buddy" Adams, Jr. and a granddaughter, Alexis Morgan Dillard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her loving caregivers, who attended to her at Lovingston Health Care Center. Burial following in the Painter Family Cemetery. on September 22, 2011.2
