Ord was Co-Owner and operator of S&T Pipeline, member of Local Union 132 and member of the WV Draft Horse
& Mule. He is survived by; daughter, Dallie Mae Dennis; former wife, Helen Maxine Shafer; survivors, Eddie Craft, Carla Craft, Celica Conn, Tiffany Richard and Leah Ann Engram; brothers, Melvin, Sam (Sharon) and Molt Shafer; daughter in law Sheila Shafer, grandchildren, David and Lucas; and step granddaughter, Tracy. Special thanks to Molt and Sheila Shafer for all the help they've given in Ord's last days. Burial will be in the Molt C. Ronald Calvin "Pad" Withrow Ronald C. "Pad" Withrow, 81, of Falling Rock, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, after a long illness. Born June 16, 1924, at Wills Creek, he was the son of the late Okey H. Withrow and Effie M. Withrow. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rose Edna "Butch" Shafer Withrow and two brothers, Arnold Withrow and Jack Withrow. Pad retired from Pennzoil, formerly Elk Refining at Falling Rock, in 1981, with 37 years of service. He was a lifetime member of Jordan Light Baptist Church, Wills Creek. He is survived by daughter, Brenda Hall of Falling Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Norman Hershberger of Maxton, N.C; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Mike Beavers of Dunbar; grandsons, Matt Brown of Falling Rock, Shannon Hershberger of Maxton, N.C., and Chris Beavers of Morgantown; granddaughters, Shawn Hershberger of Maxton, N.C., and Lesli Beavers of Buckhannon; brothers, Charles O. Withrow Sr. and Herbert T. Withrow of Wills Creek, and Paul H. Withrow of Lutz, Fla; and sisters, Alvie Shafer and Mattie Shafer of Clendenin, Dorothy Brooks of Seminole, Fla., and Marie Groot of Holiday, Fla. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith." And now I am at peace with the Lord. A special thank you goes to Hospice care and two very special caregivers, Darrell Holstine and Janet Taylor, you have been God's blessing in our time of need. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Myers Funeral Home, Elkview, with the Rev. Bob Jett and the Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Clendenin Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the funeral home.
