Patricia Jo Switzer was born on September 19, 1938 at Vermilion Co., Indiana.1 As of October 25, 1958,her married name was Reese.1 She married Vernon Lee Reese, son of Edward Everett Reese and Dorotha Della Smith, on October 25, 1958 at Indiana.1 Patricia Jo Switzer died on October 15, 2014 at Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois, at age 76.1 She Patricia Jo Edwards, age 76, of Danville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:15 AM at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Patricia was born September 19, 1938 in Vermillion County, Indiana to Jesse Frank and Evelyn Louis (Fox) Switzer. She married Vernon L. Reese on October 25, 1958 in State Line City, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1961. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Dean and Barry Switzer. She is survived by her daughter, Sherril Masulis; her son, Brian (Gretchen) Edwards; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She attended Covington High School and Danville Junior College where she obtained her LPN. Later Patricia worked as a nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital and for 15 years at the Illiana VA Hospital in Danville. She retired from the Illiana VA in 1993. on October 17, 2014.1

Attended Dixie College. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Owned and operated McQuaid Towing for 50 years. Survived by his wife Barbara, three daughters Christy McQuaid, Kathy Gottler, and Cheryl McQuaid, sister Nancy Hollingworth, sister in law Connie May, 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
