Mrs. Gregg, who had been in failing health in recent months, entered a hospital here June 9 for observation and treatment. She had shown some improvement and friends and relatives were hopeful that she would continue to gain. She was stricken suddenly early yesterday afternoon and died within a few minutes. Mrs. Gregg was born in Santa Rosa, a daughter of the late James W. Gray. She was a sister of Lillian Gray, Mrs. Angie Downs and George Gray, who survive her. Her husband, Nelson Gregg, died many years ago. The body was removed to the Welti funeral parlors, where funeral arrangements are pending. Since her retirement from teaching Mrs. Gregg had made her home with her sister in College avenue here. on July 23, 1946.4

She also belonged to the Wellsville Garden Club and the Chat & Sew Club in Gardner. She married Forest Laughlin on July 24, 1965, in Paola. He survives of the home. Other survivors include four sons, Ron Attebery, Dennis Attebery, and Dan Attebery, all of Edgerton, and Max Atteberym Charlestown, Ind; a daughter Shirley Fort, Edgerton; a stepdaughter, Jeanne Konker, Norman Okla; two sisters, Arlene Hughes, Riley, Ore., and Delores Watkins, Bethany, Mo; a brother Frank Hanshew, Pittsburg; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. on August 6, 1992.1
