A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Dillard Y. and Leah Ellis Flynt, was a homemaker and a member of the Wells Hill Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Joe Gray of Fayetteville; daughter, Sonya Crabtree of Fayetteville; son, Michael (Kim) Gray of Fayetteville; daughter, Bridget (John) Cash of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lauren Crabtree (Eddie McDaniel) Mitchell, Lindsey Crabtree (Jason) Morgan, Cara Crabtree (Jeffrey) Groce, Heather Gray, Hannah Gray, Holly Gray, Haley Cash and Hayden Cash; nine great-grandchildren; brother, William E. Flynt of Fayetteville; three sisters, Joyce Farmer, Doris Harwell and Peggy McAlister, all of Fayetteville. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard McWilliams officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. on January 7, 2015.2
