C., Betty moved to the Peninsula in the early 1950's. She joined Victory Baptist Church shortly after moving to the area and has been a faithful member every since. Betty was a loving and caring mother and wife, making a wonderful home for her family. She always was attentive to the needs of her household, meticulously stretching sometimes modest resources, where nobody wanted for anything. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Caldwell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra F. & Carl Warner; sons and daughter-in-law, Randall S. & Leslie B. She was a member of Meade Memorial Methodist Church for 40 years; member of the Sunshine Club and volunteered at the thrift shop in Evington. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Walter Webb. She is survived by a son, Randy Hannah and wife, Ellen of Evington; a grandson, Sonny Hannah of Rustburg; three stepgrandchildren, Sgt. Joseph Tomlin and wife, Marie of Sebring, Fla., Mike Tomlin and wife, Stacey of Madison Heights and Chris Tomlin of Evington. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 in Huffman Memorial Park, Newcastle, Va.
