She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul DeWitt Lambert, Sr., a son, Paul Dewitt Lambert, Jr., and a brother, Norville Tuggle. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W.H. (Pauline) Wiley of Princeton and Mrs. Donald (Betty) Worrell of Victorville, California; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Burns-Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road at Princeton with the Rev. Richard Flowers officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens at Princeton. Lambert, Sr., and Kathleen Tuggle Lambert. Polly was a graduate of Princeton High School and was a life long resident of Princeton. She was a retired analyst in the Chemical Lab for the Celanese Corporation in Narrows, Va. with 46 years of service. Polly really enjoyed crocheting afghans to give to her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henderson Wiley, Jr., (W.H.), along with brother, Paul D. Lambert, Jr., and her son-in-law, David Harvey. Survivors include her sister, Betty Worrell of Glenwood Retirement Village; a son, Ronald H. Wiley; cousin, Rita Montrose; and her extended family, Debbie Harvey, Rhonda and Kenny Harmon and their sons, Adam and Jake Bill Hanks and wife Betty; many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m, Monday, September 27, 2010 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Rick Setser officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. A time of gathering and sharing will be held on Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Rose Meadows Lambert of Princeton; one son, Chip Lambert and his wife Kelley of Princeton; one daughter, Ashley Lambert of Scott Depot; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rose Lambert of Princeton; his loving mother-in-law, Mamie Meadows of Princeton; he had a special place in his heart for three kids who were like his own, Destiny, Brent and Amy Cochran; and his friends and caregivers at Fresenius Medical Care, Mercer County Dialysis and Princeton Community Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor John Duncan officiating.
