Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late James and Clara (Underwood) Lagan and loving husband of Nancy Ryan Lagan. He was a seaman in the United States Navy who served on the USS Lake Champlain from 1956 to 1962. He worked in retail most of his life, A&P Supermarkets, Bonded Armor and Pier 1. In his younger years, he was a faithful Baltimore Colts fan and a season ticket holder. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and was active in many community and charitable organizations. James was a charter member of the Bel Air Moose Lodge 1952 and more than a twenty year member of the Harford County Izaak Walton League where he is widely known for chairing the Bel Air Gun Show. James is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Nancy Ryan Lagan. He was the loving father of Shari Walker (John) of Cape Coral, FL, Tom (Lori), and Rick (Dawn) of Bel Air and loving grandfather to Katie Walker of Spring, TX, Michael Walker (Cari) of Clover, SC, Andrew and Sean Lagan of Bel Air, and Nicole and Kari Lagan of Bel Air and great granddaughter, Anna Walker of Clover, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Burial in Highview Memorial Gardens.² He was born on November 21, 1935 at Bel Air, Harford Co., Maryland.² He married Nancy L.      Marguerite Iris Stanley Marguerite Iris Wimmer, 95, left this life and entered into God's care May 23, 2010. She was born on November 11, 1914 in the Water Vale area of Fallston, MD. A life long resident of the Fallston community, she was the daughter of J. Harry Stanley and Bertha Smith Stanley. Marguerite graduated from Bel Air High School, class of 1932, when the high school was on Gordon Street. After school, she went to work at the Campbell's Sewing Factory on Carr's Mill Road. While there, she met her future husband, Lawrence W. Wimmer. They were married January 9, 1937. Marguerite worked with her husband at Glenn L. Martin during WWII. She was a "Rosy the Riveter" until her first daughter was born, six days after D-Day in 1944. After the births of both her daughters, Ellen and Linda, Marguerite became a stay at home mom who, with her parents and husband, raised just about every vegetable and fruit that would grow in this climate. She was a breast cancer survivor of 55 years. After the surgery in 1954, life took on a new meaning, and she enjoyed traveling with her father in the fall after the gardens were finished. She took two trips to Hawaii in her 70's with her daughter and son-in-law. Marguerite was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church (now Fallston United Methodist) where she taught Sunday school and was active in the Adult Fellowship Group. She was also active in the Youth's Benefit Homemakers Club and judged cooking and canning events for the 4-H and others at the local and state fair levels. When there was someone in need of help in any way, she was always there to give a ride or a helping hand and she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Ellen Pfau of Bel Air, MD and Linda Blisard and her husband, George, of Pensacola, FL. There are six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lee Johnson of Bel Air; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by Lawrence, her husband of 60 years; Jim Pfau, her son-in-law; Douglas Ayres, her grandson; and Morgan Stanley, her brother killed in WWII. Pallbearers are Jim Pfau Jr., Joe Yates, Ken McGrath, Kyle McGrath, Caleb Yates, and Michael Boehmer.¹ She was buried at Fallston United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1509 Fallston Road, Fallston, Harford Co., Maryland.³ She was born on November 11, 1914 at Fallston, Harford Co., Maryland.¹ As of January 9, 1937,her married name was Wimmer.¹ She married Lawrence Walton Wimmer, son of William Ezra Wimmer and Cora Elizabeth Jane Walton, on January 9, 1937.^1,2 Marguerite Iris Stanley died on May 23, 2010 at Maryland at age 95.¹

Miller on February 22, 1979 at Childress Co., Texas.² Quinda Jean Patterson died on April 13, 2013 at Oklahoma at age 70.³ She ENID, Okla. — FAIRVIEW — Memorial service for Quinda Jean Miller, 70, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Fairview Mennonite Brethren Youth building. A life celebration will be in Glen Rose, Texas, during the Belew family reunion the end of May. Quinda was born Dec. 27, 1942, to Mary Francis Poff and Jack Patterson and died Friday, April 19, 2013. Surviving are daughters, Mary Rodriquez and husband Rick, Sherry Buford and husband Robert, and Debra Button and husband Lance; sons, Ricky Winegeart, and Terry Winegeart and wife Mylee; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters. on April 24, 2013.³
