     Doris Rae Pring was born on August 13, 1926 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,4,2,3 As of June 19, 1942,her married name was Crowder.¹ She married William Lewis Crowder, son of Robert Lewis Crowder and Lucy Frances Zell, on June 19, 1942 at Hollins, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Doris Rae Pring and William Lewis Crowder were divorced on May 10, 1950 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ Doris Rae Pring died on March 2, 2014 at Norfolk, Virginia, at age 87.^4,3 She Doris Pring Starkey, 87, of Chesapeake, went home with Jesus on Sunday, March 2, 2014 while at Norfolk Sentara Hospital in Norfolk, Va. She was born to Charlie Pring and Lula Sink Pring on August 13, 1926. She was the wife of Donald Lee Starkey who predeceased her on December 26, 1973. She is survived by her son, David Starkey and his wife, Janis, of Chesapeake, Va; daughter, Carole Maddy and her husband, Harold, of Baird, Texas; son, Stephen Starkey and his wife Eve of Salisbury, Md; and daughter, Donna Lane of Jupiter, Fla. She is also survived by her aunts, Lois Dezelich of Bedford, Va. and Elizabeth Sink of Roanoke, Va; sister-in-law, Shirley Gardner of California; as well as grandchildren, Debbi Starkey of N.C., David Starkey, Jr. of Nevada, Jeremy Starkey and his wife Katherine of Suffolk, Va., Stefani and Billy Morin of Mukilteo, Wash., Jaime Starkey of Nashville, Tenn., and Heather Lane of Jupiter, Fla. She was graced with eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She grew up in Roanoke, Va. and moved with her husband to Norfolk County, VA (Chesapeake) in 1947. She began driving a school bus for Norfolk County/City of Chesapeake in 1954 and continued until 1967 when her youngest daughter graduated. During her tenure as a bus driver, she was a favorite of the Great Bridge High School Marching Band and many of the sports teams as she drove them to inter-scholastic events. She then began her career with the United States Postal Service in Chesapeake, VA where she worked until her retirement in 1989. She was often commended by customers and superiors for her noteworthy attention to customer needs. In 1989, she moved back to Roanoke, VA to take care of her Mother. She continued working on a part-time basis so she could be available to provide care and companionship to her Mother and several Aunts who did not drive. After her Mother's passing in 1998, she returned to Chesapeake, VA in 1999 to live near her children. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA at 1 p.m. on Friday, March, 14, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Salisbury, MD or Saint Mark Christian Academy in Portsmouth, VA. on March 11, 2014.³

     Mary Louise Logsdon was buried at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee.^3,2 Her married name was Crowder.¹ She married Carl Eugene Crowder, son of Robert Lewis Crowder and Lucy Frances Zell.^1,2 Mary Louise Logsdon was born on July 17, 1930 at Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee.^3,2,4 She died on December 21, 2005 at Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee, at age 75.^3,2,4 She MARY LOUISE LOGSDON CROWDER, 75, of Memphis, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2005. She was born in Memphis, daughter of Ed and Emma Jansen Logsdon. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl E. Crowder and daughter, Mary Lillian Doyle. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Stella and Gene Lochmiller of Nashville; sister, Stella Klabouch of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Laura and Nina Donatucci; Steve Harrison, Richard Doyle, Jr., Mary J. Doyle, and John Doyle; and 9 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank St. Francis Nursing Home and Hospital staff for the kindness and care that they have extended to our loved one during her stay there. Graveside services will beheld at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 28. Arrangements by: High Point Funeral Chapel on December 27, 2005.²

She is survived by three sons, Preston C. McDaniel of Troutville, James B. McDaniel of Parksley, Va., William (Buddy) Crowder Jr. of Buchanan; three daughters, Myrtle J. Childress of Troutville, Shirley A. Underwood and Brenda M. Morefield, both of Roanoke; one brother, Andrew Myers; one sister, Susie Martin, both of Lexington; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. on August 13, 1993.¹

Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery (also known as White Church Cemetery), 2357 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Fincastle, Botetourt Co., Virginia.⁴ Her Social Security Number was 227-76-7353.⁵ She was born on November 1, 1946.⁵ She died on December 21, 2002 at Virginia at age 56.^3,5 She MYERS, Linda Louise, of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002. God called a special Angel home that he had loaned to us for 56 years. She was very special to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all but we take comfort in knowing that she is healed and whole again in Heaven with Jesus. She was an employee of Goodwill Industries for 34 years. She had many special friends for which she loved and was loved by them. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Earl Bradley of Blue Ridge; brothers, James Myers of Fincastle, Carl Crowder and wife Linda of Groveport, Ohio; special niece, Patricia Wilcher of Roanoke; plus many family members who loved her dearly. on December 22, 2002.³

     Edward Pence Myers was buried at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery (also known as White Church Cemetery), 2357 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Fincastle, Botetourt Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on June 30, 1945 at Virginia.¹ He died on August 11, 1945 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia.¹

     Unknown Ayers married Lula Bell Crowder, daughter of William A. Crowder and Susan Elizabeth "Susie" Dillard.¹ Unknown Ayers died before April 18, 1940; His wife was enumerated as a widow in the 1940 Census.¹
