Jackson of Titusville RD 3; a sister, Mrs. Ann Sheldon of Smethport; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death in addition to her husband and parents were a daughter, Mrs. Bette J. Lischner, two sisters and four brothers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Jonathan H. Hutchinson Funeral Home. Rev. John W. Stevenson, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Brandon Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or to the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County. on November 8, 1991.1

Lois was born on May 5, 1924 in Cranberry to the late Verde and Myrtle Blauser Allison. She married Harold “Bill” Jackson on June 25, 1945 in Oil City. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1996. She was a graduate of Oil City High School. Lois worked as a secretary at the Oil City Hospital for various doctors. She then worked as a librarian for Drake Well Museum and the Y.W.C.A before her retirement. She attended the First United Methodist Church. Lois loved sewing, and in her earlier years worked in a seamstress shop. She enjoyed playing cards, working in her flower garden, landscaping, playing farkle, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Lois was an avid bowler and competed in several leagues and she loved being with her friends and family. She is survived by her six children; Faye Thoms and husband Jay of Boca Rotan, FL, Harold J. Jackson of Deerfield Beach, FL, Ross C. Jackson of Webster, MA, Jeffery A. Jackson and wife Julie of Putnam, CT, Gregory W. Jackson and companion Tami Pietz of Grand Junction, CO, and Julie Deane husband Ken of Titusville; a step son Jack Wakefield and wife Maxine of Titusville; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by an infant daughter Elizabeth; a grandson Sean Thoms; one brother Robert Allsion; and a sister Betty Tautin. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Titusville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Edward Gresick, officiating. Inurnment will be at Rynd Farm Cemetery.4 She was buried at Rynd Farm Cemetery, Rouseville, Venango Co., Pennsylvania.4 She was born on May 5, 1924 at Cranberry Township, Venango Co., Pennsylvania.4 As of June 25, 1945,her married name was Jackson.4 She married Harold L. Bolles, 67, of Pinoak, a partner in Bolles Garage at Pinoak for many years, died at noon Tuesday in the Oil City hospital. Mr. Bolles was born April 8, 1896, near Bradford, a son of Edwin M. and Matilda McCutcheon Bolles. He moved to with his family to the Pinoak area when a child and had lived there since. A skilled mechanic, he built and had patented in Washington, D.C., the first friction drive drilling machine and various other mechanical devices. He and his late brother, Chester, owned and operated Bolles Garage for many years. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Bolles served with a Military Transport Corps stationed at Le Havre, France. Mr. Bolles was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. His first wife, the former Marie Allison of Seneca, died in 1957. He later married the former Laura Carll Dolby of Oil City, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Audine, of Miami, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Kerr of Franklin RD 2; a half-sister, Mrs. Joan Skidmore of Darling; a half-brother, E. Ellsworth Bolles of Daytona Beach, Fla., and his step-father, Charles Bourne on Bonne Terre, Mo. Friends will be received at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements will be announced. on January 15, 1964.8

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Kerr Cemetery in Mineral Ridge. on May 21, 2000.3
