     Hannah Mariah Smith was buried at Union Christian Cemetery, Newtown, Fountain Co., Indiana.2,5 She was born on June 23, 1852 at Madison, Dane Co., Wisconsin.3 As of October 9, 1873,her married name was Minnick.3 She married Elijah Minnick on October 9, 1873 at Fountain Co., Indiana.3 Hannah Mariah Smith died on May 21, 1931 at Attica, Fountain Co., Indiana, at age 78.2,3 She ATTICA, Ind., May 21. - Mrs. Mariah Minnick, 78, widow of Elijam Minnick, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Dowe Minnick. Mrs. Minnick had been very ill during the winter months but had recovered, and was enioying good health until last Friday when she was stricken with a cold. Her death came unexpectedly and was a great shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Minnick, whose maiden name was Mariah Smith, was born near Madison, Wis., June 23. 1852. She came to Fountain county, Ind., with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Smith, at the age of three years and settled near Veedersburg. After her marriage she lived in the Union church neighborhood until a year ago when she came to Attica to live with her son. Surviving with the son already mentioned is another son, Glen, of Newtown and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Union Christian church, with the Rev. Fry officiating; interment in Union cemetery. on May 21, 1931.3
