Mrs. Campbell was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Elder and Jean C. Wheby both of Charlottesville and Carolyn Walter of Boones Mill; two sons, E. Grady Campbell of Richmond and James P. Campbell of Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 1290 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901. on March 29, 1998.3

Born October 27, 1906, in Buena Vista, Mr. Campbell was raised at the Salem Baptist Orphanage in Salem, Virginia. Mr. Campbell was the retired founder and owner of the Campbell Printing Company of Salem. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Salem, and a member of the Gideon's International organization. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Elizabeth Creasy Campbell; three daughters, Mary Ann Elder and Jean Wheby of Charlottesville, Carolyn Walter of Roanoke; two sons, Elwood G. Campbell Jr. of Richmond, James P. Campbell of Orlando, Fla; 15 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his two sons, Gerald Lee Campbell and John David Campbell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon's International, 210 W. Market Street, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Services will be at a later time. Teague Funeral Home, Charlottesville, is in charge of arrangements. on December 9, 1994.2

Campbell of Colonial Heights; two daughters, Nancy Susan Davis of Chesterfield, and Helen Elise Munsey of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Michael Grady Campbell, Zane Grey Davis, III, and Amanda Marie Davis, all of Chesterfield, Preston Munsey and Joanna Elise Munsey of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Mary Ann Elder, Jeanne C. Wheby, and Carolyn Sue Walter; and one brother, James Campbell. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 27, 1999, in the chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights. Reverend Doctors Kay and Don Steele will officiate. Internment will be private. Flowers are welcome, and should be delivered to Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, or contributions may be made to the McGuire Veterans Hospital Auxiliary, Richmond. on September 26, 1999.3
