He was preceded in death by first wife, parents, one brother, Lyman Wood; and one sister, Bercie Martin. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St. with the Rev. Jeff Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the mortuary.

She had lived in the Greentown and Kokomo areas all her life. A graduate of Greentown High School, she was a member of the Kokomo Chapter of ABWA, and two investment clubs in previous years and served as representative of new baby calls for Welcome Wagon. Other survivors are two half brothers, Charles and Robert Cardwell, and two half sisters, Mary and Peggy Cardwell, all of Kokomo. on February 7, 1983.3

He then graduated from Purdue University with a master's degree in chemical engineering. He served in the US. Army in World War II from 1943 to 1945 in the medical battalion. He received a good conduct medal, Victory Ribbon and AM Theater Ribbon. He was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club and Elks Lodge No. 190. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; a son, Greg Purvis, Indianapolis; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cathy and David Lakey, Kingwood, Texas, Connie and Rick Thomas, Kokomo, and Denise Adamson, Winter Springs, Fla; a sister and brother-in-law, Inez and Charles Dahlin, Hammond; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Dick Stanley and Bill and Marge Stanley, all of St Petersburg, Fla; four sisters-in-law, Sharlote Shallenberger, Dorothy Adams and Jean Mullins, all of Kokomo, and Markeeta Melton, Pickerington, Ohio; five grandchildren and spouses, Steven Purvis, Charity and Daniel Graham, Natalie Bunn, Benjamin Bunn and Meredith Jester and Tonny Jester; four great-grandchildren, Nikki and Dillon Graham and Christopher and Ashley Jester; two nieces and one nephew. Services are 1 p.m. today at Stout & Son Funetal Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. The Revs. Garey Miller and Stan Zurcher will officiate. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery with full military honors by Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1152. on November 13, 1999.7

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, who he was married to for 51 years. His daughter, Christina [Allen] Kersey. His three grandchildren, Jacob, his fianc, Justine, Zachary, his fianc, Lauren, and Marie who always brighten his world. His brother-in-law, Dan Cook and sister-in-law, Jean Cook and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He worked for Amerisure Insurance for 34 years as a regional claim manager and finally as a litigation coordinator. He loved playing Santa for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Violet and Patsy, and brothers, Thomas, Robert, Wilbur, and Theodore.4 He was born on August 25, 1933 at Herbst, Grant Co., Indiana.2,4 He married Patricia Ann Scheibelhut in January, 1967 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.3 Delbert Eugene Bragg died on December 11, 2018 at Florida at age 85.4
