     Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr. was buried at Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield, Hardy Co., West Virginia.⁴ His Social Security Number was 235-10-0524.⁵ He married Zula Marie Hively, daughter of William Thomas Hively and Laura Catherine Dodd.^1,3 Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr. was born on July 12, 1915 at Falling Rock, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^5,4 He died on September 18, 2002 at Winchester, Virginia, at age 87.^5,4 He Jesse Elbert Ferrell Sr., 87, of Wardensville, W.Va., died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at the Almost Home Assisted Living in Winchester. Mr. Ferrell was born July 12, 1915, in Falling Rock, W.Va., and was the son of the late Albert T. and Mary Perdue Ferrell. He was a retired pipe worker and a member of the Wardensville United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Lion's Club, Capon Valley Ruritans, Pipe-Viners Union No. 798, and the Masonic Lodge No. 29 32nd Degree Scottish Rite-York Rite. His wife, Virginia Orndorff Ferrell, preceded him in death. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Judy M. Harman of Fair Oaks, and Lynne J. Rickard of Winchester; three sons, Jesse E. Ferrell Jr. and Edward Lawson, both of Clendenin, W.Va., and Roland Thomas Ferrell of Elkview, W.Va; a sister, Emma V. Legg of Cleveland, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. The Rev. Luther "Nip" Crites will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the Elmore Chambers Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield with Masonic rites by the Moorefield Masonic Lodge No. 29 A.F.&A.M. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Moorefield Masonic Lodge No. 29 A.F.&A.M. on September 19, 2002.⁴

She was a retired bookkeeper from Western National Gas, former member of Westside Christian Church, Bradenton, where she was a member of Senior Singers and Adult Choir, and a member of Brevard Wesleyan Church. Surviving: husband, Joseph B. Peters; daughters, Elaine Sturgeon of Fredricksburg, Va., Sally Gall of Palm Harbor, Fla; son, Ralph of Lake Toxaway, N.C; sister, Eva Bailey of Bradenton; seven grandchildren.      Joseph Bolenski Peters was buried at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton, Manatee Co., Florida.^3,4 He was born on October 5, 1915 at Nocatee, St. Johns Co., Florida.^4,5 He married Ordith Lee "Angela" Summers, daughter of James G. Summers and Bessie Maude Hively, on February 4, 1949 at Bradenton, Manatee Co., Florida.^1,2 Joseph Bolenski Peters died on May 8, 2009 at Florida at age 93.^3,4 He PETERS, Joseph B. of Palm Harbor, and previously of Bradenton, age 93, died May 8, 2009. He was a son of the late Joseph Cleveland and Sallie Elizabeth Peters. He was predeceased by his wife Ordith S. "Angela" Peters; a daughter, Carmen P. Turner; and one grandson, Erik Gollnick. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, a WWII United States Army veteran, and retired from the Florida National Guard permanent staff. Survivors include one son, Ralph J. Peters and wife Lynn Peters, of Lake Toxaway, NC; two daughters, Elaine Sturgeon, of Fredericksburg, VA and Sally Gall and husband Keith M. Gall of Palm Harbor; two granddaughters, Stacey Peters and Heather Crawford; four grandsons, Chris Peters, Taylor Gall, Morgan Gall & Adam Peters; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Peters, and Erik Walters. Funeral services will be held at Manasota Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Bradenton on Saturday, May 23 at 2 pm with a viewing at 1 pm. There will also be a memorial service at Harborside Christian Church in Safety Harbor at 4 pm May 24.      Edward Lawson Ferrell was buried at Taylor Cemetery, Clendenin, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² His Social Security Number was 235-64-4173.⁴ He was born on October 13, 1943.⁴ He died on October 16, 2007 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 64.^2,4 He Edward Lawson Ferrell, 54, of Clendenin went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Elbert Sr. and Zula Marie Hively Ferrell. Edward is survived by his son, Ashley Lawson Ferrell of Clendenin; and brothers, Jesse Ferrell Jr. of Bomont and Roland Ferrell of Clendenin. Mr. Ferrell was a Vietnam Army veteran and was retired from Union Local 798, Tulsa, Okla. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Chris Elswick officiating and with military rites performed by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, Clendenin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. on October 18, 2007.²
