Surviving are his widow, Emmer; three sons, David, Paul and Willis Ray at home; a daughter, Kathy at home; his mother, Mrs. Martha Gunnoe of Pine Knob; three brothers, Kenneth of Pine Knob, Alfred of Lombard, Ill., and Dewey of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Fay Jarrell of Bald Knob and Mrs. Wavie Setser of Dayton, Ohio. Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Delbert Freewill Baptist Church at Pine Knob by the Rev. Jack Weller. Burial will be in the Wills Cemetery at Rock Creek. on May 23, 1964.3

Wade Webb of Arnett officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Glen Daniel. Mankin was born at Dameron and was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County. A farmer and a cattleman, he was the son of the late Gus and Eva Shumate Mankin. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Wills Mankin; one uncle, Ash Mankin of Beckley, and three cousins, H. G. Farmer, Anthony Farmer and Kelly Farmer, all of Bolt. The body will remain at the Calfee Funeral Home until 4 p.m. today when it will be removed to the residence where it will remain until the funeral hour. Active pallbearers will be P. C. Ballard, Golden Pettry Jr., Charles Mankin, Quentiin Barrett, Arthur Milam and Everett Shumate. on February 5, 1953.3
