She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 66 years Doc Dyson. She is survived by her daughter Sharon David; grandson Michael David and wife Dee; granddaughter Jennifer Duncan and husband Monte; great grandsons: Jonathan Hart, Cooper and Mason Duncan; great great grandson Jack Hart; son in-law Don David; nieces, nephews, sister in-law Ruby Dyson-Smith, Bernard Tellez, as well as other relatives, neighbors and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO with Dr. John Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, in the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, MO. On Oct. 24, 1921 at Nevada, he married Ollie B. Caton. He was a member of the Milo Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ollie of the home; two sons, Harold McClellan, Neosho and Fred McClellan, Grand Blanc, Mich; two brothers, Leonard McClellan, Nevada, and Cecil McClellan, Milo; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Fannie) Lewis, Milo, and Mrs. Posey (Blanche) Leupold, Lincoln, Neb; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ferry Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Willis Fowler officiating. Interment will be in Milo Cemetery. on January 27, 1975.2

Jane, orphaned at a very young age, was reared by aunt and uncle James and Florence Creason. She married Lester David Akers on October 12, 1940 in Lawson. Jane was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the Lawson area. She was a faithful member of the Old Union Christian Union Church in Lawson. Her family and her church were the most important things in her life. Jane was preceded in death by her husband in 1984 and a sister Adlet Roewert. She is survived by two children: Marian Stonum and her husband Robert, and Ron Akers and his wife M. Jane, all of Lawson; four grandchildren: Kathryn McQuerrey and husband Rick, John Stonum and wife Denise, Ross Akers and wife Kathy, and Cindy Cox and husband Andy. Seven Great Grandsons and one step-great-grandson; one great granddaughter and one step-great-granddaughter; one great-great grandson, two two step-great-great granddaughters; two sisters-in-law; and a special friend of the family, Trisha Leonard.
