The accident occurred at 4:20 a.m. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Clay. Surviving: wife, Wyona; daughters, Jennifer Davis at home; stepdaughter, Lora Starcher at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Davis of Clay; brothers, Henry of Clay, David at home; sisters, Mrs. Sharon Stone of Canton, Ohio, Mrs. Debra Frederick of Saint Marys; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Davis of Clay, Mrs. Georgia Shelton of Lockwood. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Blue Knob. on July 21, 1976.1
