Burial will be in the Letitia Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. He was born June 9, 1932 in Stephens County to Henry and Gladys (Snyder) Bardsher. He graduated from Empire High School in 1950. He married Sandra Fleming on August 9, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He made his livelihood in the cattle industry and was a lifetime rancher and cattleman. He was co-owner and investor of the Lawton Stock Yards and various other livestock auctions in Oklahoma. He was a member of the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association. He attended First Assembly of God in Lawton. Charlie was a real cowboy. We are blessed and have had a great privilege to know and love him. He has been our mentor, confidant, teacher and counselor. Sharing his life and cowboy ways with friends and family has its price. There is a price that comes with the joy and peace, a price for the laughter shared between hearts and spirits, a price of feeling trust and that trust cradles those who had a relationship with Charles Bardsher. The price is the large empty space that remains when a cowboy rides away. He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Charles (Chuck) Bardsher, Dallas, and Garold Ray Bardsher, Lawton; two step daughters, Terri Snider and her husband Lonnie, and Tammi McGlothlin, all of Lawton; four grandsons, Russell Bardsher and C.W.
