She and her husband, Chet, owned and operated the Sands Motel in Ulysses, KS. She also worked at Oklahoma State Bank in Buffalo, OK and was Vice President at Grant County State Bank in Ulysses, Kansas. DeLois was born on February 8, 1928, in Fillmore, OK, the daughter of Mack and Gladys (Johnson) Smith. She was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Fillmore, OK. She married Tommy Joe McEachern, who was killed in Okinawa in 1945. She then married Leslie Peery until his passing. She later married Chet Snider on June 26, 1964, in Oklahoma City, OK. He died on October 29, 2007. She was a member of NABW (National Association of Bank Women). She also belonged to Family Motorhome Association and the Foretravel Motor Club. She and husband, Chet, wintered in Arizona, Nevada, and California. She is survived by: five children, Kendall Joe McEachern and wife, Catheryn, of McPherson, KS, Charles Leslie Peery of Raymore, MO, Kathy Reese and husband, Nelson, of Mooreland, OK, Connie Mead and husband, Wayne, of Woodward, OK, Sheryl Woods and husband, B.G., of Gage, OK; a daughter-in-law, Elaine McEachern of Buffalo, OK; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mack Smith and Gladys Smith Wert; husbands, Tommy Joe McEachern, Leslie Peery, and Chet Snider; son, Tommy Mack McEachern; granddaughter, Denise Elaine McEachern; grandson, Joey Dean McEachern; step-daughter, Cindy DeVon; brothers, JT Smith and Bobby Smith; sisters, Oleta Lindsey, Chestina Callen, and Mildred Sam. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Duerksen officiating. Burial will follow at the McPherson Cemetery. on March 19, 2016.2

Va., Cindy Curtis of Lexington, Ky., and Kevin Curtis of Grafton; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Crystal Dodge of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Brown; three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Brown was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was of the Presbyterian faith. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home Chapel, Grafton, with the Rev. Richard McDonald officiating. Interment will be in Woodsdale Memorial Park, Grafton. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. on March 16, 2005.3
