     George Russell Loudin George Russell Loudin died June 10, 2017 in Anderson, South Carolina. He passed away from cancer. He was born July 22, 1950, at Elkins, the son of James Paul Loudin Sr. and Margaret Alice Helmick from West Virginia and Newport News, Virginia. He was raised by his grandparents, Mason Oliver Helmick and Alberta Virginia Helmick in Junior. He was a graduate of Phillip Barbour High School in Belington. He was a electrician by trade. He is survived by his son, Mason and daughter-in-law, Heather; grandsons Stephen and Christian; and granddaughter, Kryie, in Anderson, South Carolina. Also surviving are Paula Gwin of Williamsburg Virginia, Joyce Rodgers of Klamath Falls, Oregon; James Paul Loudin Jr. of White Marsh, Virginia, Mary Yeager of Elkins and Roxanna McMillin of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.³ He married Elgin Unknown.⁵ George Russell Loudin was born on June 22, 1950 at Elkins, Randolph Co., West Virginia.³ He died on June 10, 2017 at Anderson, Anderson Co., South Carolina, at age 66.³

Kirkpatrick, 85, died January 24, 2011, at Northside Forsyth Hospital, Cumming, Ga., after a long illness. Mr. Kirkpatrick lived the majority of his years in his native West Virginia. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born February 5, 1925, in Marlinton, Pocahontas County, West Virginia, the son of French Harmon Kirkpatrick (b. 1895 Pittsburgh, Pa. - d. 1950, Charleston, W.Va.) and Anna Virginia (Richards) Kirkpatrick (b. 1900 Bath County, Va. - d. 1996 Huntington, W.Va). Graduating from Marlinton High School, Marlinton, W.Va., in March 1942, Mr. Kirkpatrick volunteered immediately for military service. He fought in the Pacific Theatre during World War II from 1942 to 1945, when he was honorably discharged as a Radioman Second Class from the United States Navy. He participated in numerous naval battles of World War II, including Saipan, Tinian, and Leyte Gulf. He was awarded the Purple Heart for a minor injury, but refused the medal because he believed his injury unworthy of the Purple Heart's true meaning. While attending Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., which in 1949 awarded him a bachelor's degree in journalism, Mr. Kirkpatrick courted and married his lifelong companion, Betty Rae Loudin. They married in Russell, Ky., May 29, 1949. Mrs. Kirkpatrick is a 1949 graduate of the Davis & Elkins College Nursing School, Elkins, W.Va. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkpatrick resided in South Charleston, W.Va., for 37 years until they relocated to Cumming, Ga., in 2008 to live nearer to their children and grandchildren. Mr. Kirkpatrick worked in the insurance industry as a claims adjuster and, later, a regional executive with the same firm from 1951 until his retirement in 1989. Mrs. Betty Kirkpatrick retired from her career as a medical-surgical nurse in 1992. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a lifelong avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird hunting and fishing. He was widely recognized as an uncanny angler for trout in his native West Virginia. He will be missed by his dear friend of 80 years and hunting companion, Mr. Arden Curry Esq. of Charleston, W.Va. Mr. Kirkpatrick is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Betty Rae (Loudin) Kirkpatrick; and four beloved children, James Stephen of Wheat Ridge, Colo., Joseph Franklin of Roswell, Ga., Patricia Ann Britz of Suwannee, Ga., and Betsy Kirkpatrick Mitcham of Cumming, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkpatrick have six grandchildren, Megan Kirkpatrick, Kalen Kirkpatrick, Kelsey Kirkpatrick, Jessica Britz, Bradley Britz and Lauren Mitcham. He is also survived by his brother, Max Kirkpatrick, now residing in Ohio, and was predeceased by their five sisters, Mildred Sharp, Mable Gum, Maxine Kirkpatrick, and twin sisters, Caroline and Charlotte Kirkpatrick, who died in early childhood. French and Anna Kirkpatrick had four sets of twins, and James, the only singleton birth in the family. Their fourth set of twins died in childbirth. He is also survived by niece, Phyllis Ann (Sharp) Wilbur of North Carolina; and nephews, Gregory Sharp, Timothy Sharp, residing in Virginia, and Larry Kirkpatrick and Keith Kirkpatrick of Ohio. Mrs. Kirkpatrick, third of 11 children born to Ray Paul Loudin and Mary Marie (Sturm) Loudin, has 57 nieces and nephews on her side of the family. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 29, in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery on January 31, 2011. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the funeral. on January 27, 2011.³

Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Daniels, 79, a resident of Meadland Mills, W.Va., passed away Wednesday (July 6, 2011) in the Fairmont General Hospital. She was born March 16, 1932, at Coalton, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ray Paul Loudin and Mary Marie Sturm Loudin. On July 8, 1950 at Terra Alta, W.Va., she was married to Charles L. Daniels, who survives. Also surviving is one son, Rev. Michael L. Daniels and wife Priscilla, of Terra Alta, W.Va; two daughters, Jane A. Sine and husband Roger of Point Marion, Pa., and Susan B. Bailey and husband Allen of Fairmont; three brothers, John Loudin of Theodore, Ala., William Loudin of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Danny Loudin of Norton, W.Va; four sisters, Betty Kirkpatrick of Cummings, Ga., Margaret Ann Miller of Sebastian, Fla., Sara Hinkle of Elkins, W.Va., and Judy Hedrick of Salem, Ohio; five grandchildren, Rachel Lantz, Aaron and Alexis Daniels, Christopher and Jonathan Sine; and seven-great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, James, Bobby Joe and Jennings Loudin, and one sister, Nancy Loudin. Rev. Daniels graduated from the Fairmont School of Business and later the United Methodist Clergy Course of Study and had been a minister with the United Methodist Churches for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Alkire Chapter No. 10, Order of the Eastern Star of Keyser and the Flemington Senior Center and a former member of the Shinnston Garden Club. She was also a member of the Terra Alta First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. At 7 p.m. Sunday, a memorial service will be conducted by members of Randolph Chapter No. 74, Order of the Eastern Star. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, from the funeral home chapel with Rev. James E. Shepherd and Pastor James E. Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Rev. Daniels.      Charles Lindberg Daniels Charles L. Daniels, age 93 years, a native of Elkins, and a resident of Flemington, WV, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. He was born April 1, 1928 at Beverly, WV, a son of the late Thurman C. and Violet Kisner Daniels. On July 8, 1950 at Terra Alta, WV, he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Loudin who preceded him in death July 6, 2011. He is survived by two daughters, Jane A. Sine and Susan B. Bailey and husband Allen of Fairmont, WV; sister-in-law, Priscilla Locke Daniels of Brownsville, TN; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also preceding him in death was one son, Michael L. Daniels; son-in-law, Roger L. Sine; five sisters, Eula Cross, Norma Hannah, Betty Merritt, Carol Sines and Berle Daniels and eight brothers, Aubry, Paul, June, Jack, Alvin, Kenny, Berlin and Merlin Daniels. Charles was a graduate of Fairmont State College and West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired minister with the United Methodist Conference and an Elder with full connection with the West Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is a 32nd Degree Ancient Free and Accepted Mason. He was a member of the Terra Alta United Methodist Church and attended the Fetterman United Methodist Church at Grafton, WV. Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.      Pastor Michael L. Daniels Pastor Michael Lindberg Daniels age 68 of Fairmont Road, Arnettsville passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 17, 1951 in Buckhannon, WV a son of Charles Lindberg Daniels of Flemington and the late Mary Louise Loudin Daniels. Michael obtained his Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and pastored with the United Methodist Church in the West Virginia Conference where he touched the lived of many for over forty years. He was currently serving the local United Methodist Church charge consisting of Arnettsville, Snyder Temple, Laurel Point, and Lynch Chapel. Pastor Michael was an avid student and teacher of the Bible and everyone who heard him mentioned that he was an excellent speaker. He was also an automotive hobbyist, who loved to maintain and repair cars. In addition to his father, Michael is survived by his wife: Priscilla Walker Locke Daniels, one son: Aaron Michael Daniels of Pittsburgh, two daughters: Rachel Daniels Lantz and husband Bill of Terra Alta, and Alexis Mary Daniels of Arnettsville, two sisters: Jane Daniels Sine and Susan Daniels Bailey both of Fairmont and three grandchildren: Kraven Lantz, Raina Lantz, and Alayna Lantz all of Terra Alta.³ He was buried at Mountain State Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kerns, Randolph Co., West Virginia.⁴ He was born on September 17, 1951 at Buckhannon, Upshur Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He married Pricilla Walker on December 28, 1975.^5,3 Pastor Michael L. He was born February 3, 1947 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Monford L. and Betty L. Lake Sine. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane A. Daniels Sine. Roger was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Grafton. He was a 1965 graduate of Rivesville High School, where he was recognized in the all-state band in 1963 and 1965. He obtained his Associates Degree in Nursing from Fairmont State College in 1978, his Bachelor of Science from Fairmont State College in 2000, and his Masters in Science and Nursing from Ball State, Muncie IN in 2004. Roger retired in 2011 from the Westmoreland County Cardiology in Greensburg, PA as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. He had previously worked at Fairmont General, Consultant Associates and Monongalia General as an RN. Prior to nursing, he worked with the WV Department of Transportation as an inspector, with Consol Energy as a coal miner, and with Plum Construction in Fairmont. Roger was well known over the years for his drum playing in many entertainment bands around Fairmont. He previously taught Sunday school at the Church of the Good Shepherd for many years. He loved his daily feeding of squirrel, birds and deer, and was an avid reader. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jane A. Daniels, of Point Marion; sons, Christopher and his wife Laura Sine, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jonathan Sine and his fiancée Jodi Newlon, of Grafton, WV; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Isabelle, Hayden, Zachary, and Gabriel; sister, Rhonda L. Moore, of Rivesville; and nephew, Matthew Moore, of Rivesville. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Fairmont, WV.³ He was born on February 3, 1947 at Fairmont, Marion Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He married Jane Ann Daniels, daughter of Charles Lindberg Daniels and Rev.
