He leaves to cherish his memory his sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Lee and Ellen McGuire Martin of Pembroke, David Martin of North Carolina, Todd and Robin Reed Martin of Newport; his daughters and son-in-law, Alice and Bobby Huffman of Rich Creek, Linda Myers of Newport; his brother, Mervin Haven Martin of Dublin; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke, with Pastor Shahn Wilburn and Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. on December 4, 2004.2
